Psychotherapy is a licensed health service that involves “diagnosing and treating mental illness”. And while I continue to love working as a psychotherapist, there are some unique advantages to life coaching.

Coaching with me is about personal growth and sustainable change. While validating pain and struggle is an important part of any healing and growth process, coaching places its primary focus less on what’s wrong and more on what can be made right.

Coaching sessions are available both in-person and virtually via Zoom secure meetings. In-person appointments are available at the Redeem Coaching office, located in Phoenix on Central Ave just north of Thomas. Coaching sessions are available Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (UTC-7). John works with clients across all U.S. time zones—Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern—as well as English-speaking clients in Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Colombia, and other parts of Latin America where hours align.

The Redeem Coaching office is located in Phoenix, Arizona at 3101 N Central Ave, 11th Floor, Suite 1166, Phoenix, AZ 85012. For in-person clients, visitor parking can be found on level 1 and levels 4-6 in the parking garage.

While I do accept insurance for formal psychotherapy (limited to Arizona and Oregon clients) life-coaching is a private pay service ($125 per one-hour session). For insurance covered diagnosis and treatment, please visit my provider profile on Headway.co.
